Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

This policy applies to LaunchRisk, a service operated by Tendli App LLC. It is written to cover the current product and reasonably foreseeable platform operations, including hosted infrastructure, reporting workflows, transactional messaging, account history, security logging, and payment-enabled features.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how LaunchRisk collects, uses, discloses, and stores information when you visit LaunchRisk.com, request a scan, purchase a report, receive communications from us, or otherwise interact with the platform.

This policy applies to information collected through the website, scan intake forms, reports, checkout flows, support interactions, and any related services we make available. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or tools that we do not control, even if we link to them or use them as providers.

2. Information We Collect

Information you submit may include public-facing names you want scanned, legal entity names, descriptions of your product or business, selected industries, build stage, website URL, ZIP code, email address, consent confirmations, and any other information you choose to provide.

If payments are enabled, payment-related data may include transaction identifiers, plan selection, billing metadata, and payment status information. We do not store full payment card numbers in our application database when a third-party payment processor is used.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, request logs, approximate location derived from IP, referrer information, and similar diagnostic or security information generated through use of the site.

We may receive information from service providers and external research sources used to generate automated risk signals, including search, domain, marketplace, business registry, authentication, hosting, storage, email delivery, caching, and payment service providers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the platform, create and deliver automated reports, process purchases, authenticate users, maintain search history, respond to support requests, send transactional communications, improve the platform, detect abuse, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect LaunchRisk and others.

We may also use submitted names, descriptions, industries, and related metadata to improve scoring models, tune automated workflows, evaluate product quality, troubleshoot provider performance, and generate aggregated or de-identified analytics, provided that we do not publicly disclose your personal information in identifiable form without a lawful basis to do so.

4. Legal Bases and Consent

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we generally process information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, because you asked us to take steps before entering into a contract, because we have legitimate business interests in operating and securing the platform, because we must comply with legal obligations, or because you provided consent.

Submission of scan intake data after checking the consent box constitutes your direction to process that information for the purposes described in this policy. If you withdraw consent, that does not affect prior processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5. Cookies, Logs, and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, server logs, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for essential site functionality, authentication, security, fraud prevention, performance monitoring, load balancing, remembering preferences, and operational analytics.

Some features described in our product roadmap may rely on third-party infrastructure that sets or uses these technologies when enabled. Browser controls may block some technologies, but doing so may impair platform functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with vendors and infrastructure providers that help us host, secure, operate, authenticate, store, cache, email, process payments for, and improve the platform. Depending on enabled features, those providers may include hosting platforms, database vendors, storage vendors, payment processors, email providers, authentication providers, queueing providers, cache providers, and research providers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, respond to legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business.

We may disclose aggregated, anonymous, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you, subject to applicable law.

7. External Research Providers and Third Parties

LaunchRisk may query third-party sources and providers to generate automated informational research and risk signals. Information submitted by you may be used as part of those queries where necessary to operate the service.

Third-party providers maintain their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services that are not under our control.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain purchased reports, support account history, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and protect our business.

Retention periods may differ by data type, account status, legal requirements, operational need, backup cycle, and whether data has been de-identified, aggregated, or preserved in logs or security archives.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission, storage, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use the platform at your own risk.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices, inboxes, credentials, and any report links or exported materials you control.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about our handling of personal information. You may also have rights relating to consent withdrawal, appeal, or complaint to a regulator.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request, and we may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including when information must be retained for security, legal, contractual, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

11. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of that phrase. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in ways that would trigger opt-out rights unless and until such features are actually implemented.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional statutory rights. If applicable law requires supplemental notice, opt-out, appeal, or limitation rights, this policy should be read to include those rights to the extent required.

12. International Users

If you access the platform from outside the United States, you understand that information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have data protection laws different from those in your home jurisdiction.

Where required, we may rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other lawful measures for cross-border processing.

13. Children

The platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us at support@tendli.co so we can review and address the issue.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted unless a later date is specified. Your continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
